Road closures and detours
Unless otherwise indicated, the entire road is closed to vehicular traffic for the times listed. If only a portion of the road is closed/open it will be indicated along with the direction of travel.
- There will be no parking along Avenham Avenue (Northbound side from Clydesdale to Broadway), as well as S. Jefferson Street (Southbound side from 24th Street to McClanahan).
- There will be many additional stop signs in place along the route in South Roanoke. Please drive slowly, be alert for new stop signs, and always yield to runners.
Friday (April 19):
- Salem Avenue (from Williamson to Jefferson): 4:30pm-11pm
- Market Street (from Norfolk to Campbell): 4:30pm-11pm

- Salem Avenue (from Jefferson to Williamson): 5:00am to 5:00pm
- Norfolk Avenue (Eastbound from Wells Fargo Garage entrance to Campbell Avenue): 5:30am to 4:00pm
- Norfolk Avenue (Westbound from Campbell Avenue to Martin Luther King Bridge): 5:30am to 4:00pm
- Wall Street (from Campbell Avenue to Salem Avenue): 5:30am to 5:00pm
- Market Street (from Norfolk Avenue to Campbell Avenue): 5:30am to 5:00pm
- Jefferson Street (from Norfolk Ave to Walnut Avenue): 7:00am to 8:00am
- Walnut Avenue (from Jefferson to JB Fishburn Parkway): 7:15am to 8:00am
- JB Fishburn Parkway (road up to Star): 7:30am to 9:30am
- Mill Mountain Parkway: 7:00am to approximately noon (or when last runner clears the road)
- Roanoke Mountain Loop Road: 7:00am to noon
