Pre-Race Pasta Dinner

City Market Building
Not only is the City Market Building “race cecitymarketlogontral” for the Blue Ridge Marathon (registration, expo, etc.), it is also the heart of Roanoke’s Historic Market District. Located within the City Market Building you will find:

The River and Rail
A southern Bistro located in the heart of Roanoke Virginia. Chef Aaron Deal changes the menu weekly based on the availability of seasonal products from our local providers. He and his team produce Southern and French classic dishes for this neighborhood restaurant, located just a block off the course at mile 16 . It’s really, really good food.

Texas Tavern
Sintexastavernce 1930, the Texas Tavern has held a spot in the history of Roanoke, VA as well as the hearts of everyone who has visited. Over 20 million bowls (and counting) have been served. In addition, we have several other menu items that have become synonymous with the culture of this Roanoke, Virginia landmark. For years we have been serving favorites such as the unique “Cheesy Western”. No trip to Roanoke is complete without a visit to the Texas Tavern.

Froth
Frfrothlogooth is the official coffee provider of the Blue Ridge Marathon. They’ll be providing coffee (and other runner-friendly breakfast items) beginning at 5:30am on race day; look for them on a street corner near the City Market Building.
