If you won your age group (Congrats) and are looking to get your award they are available for pickup (free) in downtown Roanoke, or we can mail you one ($10.50) if you are not local. Email pete@roanoke.org for all the details.

2013 Awards Overview
Award ceremonies will take place on the mezzanine level of the City Market Building.
- Noon: Half Marathon award ceremony
- 2:00pm: Full Marathon award ceremony
Finishers Medal
- All Marathon, Half Marathon, and Team Relay finishers will receive a commemorative finisher’s medal.
Age Group Awards
- Age group awards will be presented for both events to the top 3 male & female finishers in the age groups.
- 11-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69, and 70+
Overall Marathon Awards:
- Top Male and Top Female winner of full marathon win a Tag Heuer watch courtesy of Fink’s Jewelers.
- They will also each receive a print of a Janet Wimmer painting, painted specifically for the Blue Ridge Marathon.
- Second place overall male and female winner each receive a pair of four-day passes to FloydFest, a four-day celebration of music and art nestled in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of southwest Virginia! Bridging the gap between genres, generations and cultures, the festival features over 100 performers on 10 stages!
- They will also each receive a print of a Janet Wimmer painting, painted specifically for the Blue Ridge Marathon.
- Third place overall male and female winner will receive a Fleet Feet Sports Running Package.
- They will also each receive a print of a Janet Wimmer painting, painted specifically for the Blue Ridge Marathon.
Overall Half Marathon Awards:
- First place (male and female overall) receive a $250 gift certificate from Walkabout Outfitter. They will also each receive a print of a Janet Wimmer painting, painted specifically for the Blue Ridge Marathon.
- Second place (male and female overall) receive a $150 gift certificate from Walkabout Outfitter. They will also each receive a print of a Janet Wimmer painting, painted specifically for the Blue Ridge Marathon.
- Third place (male and female overall) receive a $100 gift certificate from Walkabout Outfitter. They will also each receive a print of a Janet Wimmer painting, painted specifically for the Blue Ridge Marathon.
King/Queen of the Mountain
- The first male and first female (full marathon only) to reach the top of Roanoke Mountain will be crowned King and Queen of the Mountain.
