Volunteering on the parkway is a fun group activity – with family and friends. It’s for a good cause – beautifying our beloved Blue Ridge Parkway. It’s a source of personal and community pride. It’s great exercise too!
It takes a community to host the Blue Ridge Marathon, an event that draws visitors from near and far and showcases the best of Roanoke. Volunteers with the Roanoke Valley Chapter of Friends of the Blue Ridge Parkway make sure our section of the Blue Ridge Parkway is standing tall!
